TRACE KENNEMORE, PT, DPT

Independent Owner of Southern Rehab Physical Therapy

Trace obtained his BS in Secondary Education in 1992, followed by his BS in Physical Therapy in 1999, both from the University of TN at Chattanooga. He later received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy Degree in 2013. He enjoys working as a sports therapist with the athletic population, including those returning to sports and post-surgical shoulder and knee patients.


Rachel Carter, PT, DPT, OCS, Cert DN

Rachel grew up in the United Kingdom and attended the University of Brighton for a BS in Sports Science. She then attended the University of Wales, Cardiff, for a BS in Physiotherapy in 1997. Rachel went on to gain her American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification in 2009 and re-certified in 2019. In 2011, she attended the University of TN at Chattanooga to complete her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. She most recently completed an extensive program to gain her Certification in Dry Needling (Cert DN) from The American Academy of Manipulative Therapy. Rachel lives in Marion County and has worked for SRPT for 14 years. Her interests are treating various acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, particularly with manual techniques of the neuro-musculoskeletal systems, enhanced with dry needling of the same as appropriate. She also enjoys post-surgical rehab, especially seeing patients successfully return to activity/work/sports.

A. Kathryn Blevins, PT

Kathryn graduated from David Lipscomb University in 1997 with a Bachelor's in Business Administration. She continued her education at the University of TN at Chattanooga, where she obtained her Bachelor's in Physical Therapy in 1999. She has been with SRPT since 2013 and enjoys treating knees, shoulders, ankles, cervical spine, and working with the athletic population. Kathryn previously worked with the former head Physician for the Tennessee Titans as a physical therapist and Clinic Manager for nine years.

Holly Nelson

Holly Nelson, PT, DPT

Holly obtained a BS degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry at the University of TN at Chattanooga in 2014, while on a full academic and music scholarship. She then continued her studies at the University of TN Health Science Center in Memphis, TN, to obtain her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2019. Holly began at SRPT in January 2020. She enjoys treating a variety of cases, including general orthopedics and neurological diagnoses. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and spending time with friends and family.

Kacie Hayes, PT, DPT

Kacie obtained her BS degree in Exercise Science from the University of TN at Chattanooga in 2014. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Bellarmine University in Louisville, KY, in 2018. She has been with SRPT since August 2018. Kacie is certified in Parkinson's LSVT Big and Big for Life treatments. She enjoys working with patients with Parkinson's Disease and other neurological diagnoses. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Evan and her sons, Luke & Levi.
